Fly Up With Love (一個女工的故事, yīgè nǚgōng de gùshì)” is a 1979 film about a group of young women who work in a electronics factory. The film is supposed to be a light romantic comedy, but I still think it squandered its potential to take a real look at the female workers who contributed greatly to Taiwan’s rapidly growing economy at a time when women’s roles were also undergoing a substantial shift.

But that’s not the point of this post. The point of this post is the hotness of Charlie Chin (秦祥林, Qín Xiánglín), one of “Fly Up With Love’s” stars, a leading man of 1960s and 1970s Hong Kong and Taiwanese cinema… and all-around hottie. Behold!
